To celebrate International Surfing Day & the Gold Coast Oceanfest we are offering a special reduced entry of just £2 per person (children five & under go free) to the Museum of British Surfing. Simply make a donation of £2, complete a Gift Aid form – and that’s it!
The special offer is only valid for June 21st, 22nd and 23rd 2013.
The weather forecast is for strong winds and rain over the weekend, and the surfing museum is a great place to come and chill out and take shelter! This year we have the wonderful exhibition ‘Sixties SURFER!’ which looks at how modern surfing culture developed in Britain in the swinging ’60s.
Oceanfest is a three day festival at Croyde in North Devon packed with a top line-up of surfing, beach sports and of course music – headlined this year by Bastille. International Surfing Day falls on the summer solstice (June 21st in the UK) and is now in its ninth year – it is an opportunity to give something back to surfing by getting involved in events worldwide.
As part of this our friends and partners at Surfers Against Sewage are hosting Oceanfest beach cleans on Saturday and Sunday on Croyde beach at 2pm both days. You can find our information leaflets on the Croyde Surf Club stand, and at the Croyde Surfing Academy bus.
Have a great weekend & we look forward to seeing you! Click here for standard admission prices.
