The legendary surf filmmaker Jack McCoy visited the Museum of British Surfing today on his way to the sell-out screening of his new film ‘A Deeper Shade of Blue’ at Croyde Village Hall.
This surf child of the 1960s grew up on the east side of Oahu, Hawaii and is now a long time resident of Australia. His past films include Tubular Swells, Storm Riders, Bunyip Dreaming, the Occumentary and To’O: Day of Days.
Jack is hosting a film masterclass at the surf museum in Braunton tomorrow evening, June 27th from 6.30pm. A limited number of tickets are still available for this unique opportunity to meet a true master of the lens – priced £5 and available at the Museum of British Surfing between 11am and 5pm.
