We now have handmade tote bags for sale at the Museum of British Surfing shop made from recycled deckchairs and marquees!
They are part of our support for the ‘Break the Bag Habit’ campaign – by using a resuable bag we can reduce the use of 8 billion carrier bags every year, that can litter the sea and be lethal to wildlife.
Handmade on the Isle of Wight by our friends at Jamtartsandtractors, the tote bags come in several colours. They are hard wearing, wipe clean, nostalgic and your own little piece of British beach life.
Priced just £8, they are the perfect Christmas present that will keep on giving.
The ‘Break the Bag Habit’ campaign is a partnership between Surfers Against Sewage, the Marine Conservation Society, the Campaign to Protect Rural England and Keep Britain Tidy. Here in North Devon we are supporting calls to ban carrier bags across the area.
